The Faces Behind the Brand: Mother-Daughter Duo
-
Co-Founder and Garden Expert
I have always been drawn to nature, especially plants. As a child I often sought opportunities to be in any little patch of nature I could find.
In my 20’s I studied natural health modalities such as herbalism, reiki and yoga. I spent many years growing and harvesting plants to make healing and personal care products for family and friends.
For my final project in yoga training, I created a garden as a metaphor for the spiritual journey.
For me working with plants is a deeply personal experience where the relationship is reciprocal. Quite simply, the plants are my friends

Co-Founder and Herbalist
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, herbalist-in-training, and mother, I’ve always been drawn to the healing power of nature. Dandelion Gardens & Wellness was born from the intersection of clinical care and a deep desire to create gentle, effective products for my family and community. Rooted in my passion for herbalism, motherhood, and living in rhythm with the earth, every blend I create is a reflection of natural care.
Every ingredient is carefully considered when being added to our products.
Pure Essential Oils
We’re mindful about the use of essential oils in our formulations. Each oil is carefully chosen for its origin, quality, and sustainability, and we use them in thoughtful amounts to honour both the plant and the planet. Many of our products rely on slow herbal infusions instead, allowing us to avoid unnecessary use of concentrated oils and reduce impact on over-harvested or vulnerable plant species.
Herbs
We only use ethically sourced, organic herbs in our blends. While we grow and harvest as much as we can ourselves, our Saskatchewan climate doesn’t allow for everything. When we can’t grow it, we partner with trusted sources who share our commitment to sustainability, quality, and care. Every herb we use is chosen for its purpose, its story, and its ability to nourish from the inside out.
Clay & Charcoal
We love using natural clays like kaolin and bentonite for their ability to gently draw out impurities and support clear, balanced skin. Clay has a long history in herbal skincare and ritual beauty, helping to calm, soothe, and restore without stripping. It’s one of our favourite ways to bring the earth’s grounding energy into each blend.
Oils & Butters
We use high-quality plant oils and butters chosen for their ability to nourish, protect, and support healthy skin. Each one is selected with care, both for its skincare benefits and how well it works with the herbs we infuse. We prioritize ethical sourcing and sustainability, always aiming to use ingredients that align with our values and deliver results you can feel.
Beeswax
We use natural beeswax in some of our formulations for its ability to lock in moisture, protect the skin, and provide a smooth, stable texture. Whenever possible, we source from small-scale, ethical beekeepers who respect the bees and their role in our ecosystem. Beeswax is a simple, grounding ingredient that helps create the rich, nourishing feel we love in balms and salves.
Flowers
Flowers are at the heart of many of our blends—bringing beauty, gentle healing, and plant magic to each formula. We use whole, dried blooms like calendula, rose, lavender, and chamomile for their soothing, skin-loving properties and their connection to traditional herbal care. Whenever possible, we grow and harvest our own, and when we can’t, we source organic and ethically gathered petals from trusted growers.
